About

Our mission is to promote access to the countryside and to provide a community resource for all, in such a way that people can connect with nature and get active in a green environment as a way of boosting physical and psychological wellbeing and to encourage healthy sustainable lifestyles. 

Project

We can provide rural activities for individuals and groups either at our base at Beardwood Farm or at your own venue. If you have a great idea for a project and would like advice on how to go about setting it up or about funding opportunities, then please contact us.

Donate

Beardwood Natural Living Project is a Community Interest Company (CIC), a none profit organisation run for the benefit of the local community.  We are grateful to receive any donations to support our current projects or to improve client facilities.

We also welcome volunteers who can offer various skills such as gardening, animal care, conservation work, farm maintenance, fund raising,  admin, marketing and IT skills amongst others.

Student work experience opportunities may be available.

CARE FARM ACCESS GRANT

Improving Access for Service Users including resurfacing of the yard and safe access routes, new signage and security cameras have recently been completed with funding from PEAK LEADER

Supporting Mental Health & Wellbeing with Equine Assisted Therapy & Learning

We utilise a natural horsemanship approach to explore personal growth and to promote positive mental health & wellbeing

 

Sign up for a group course consisting of a 3hr session every Saturday, running for 6 weeks. £250 per person.

Individual sessions available by arrangement.

No horse experience necessary. No horse riding involved.
